The Electoral College Is A Plague On America

After Pennsylvania’s Republican voters gave State Senator Doug Mastriano their party’s nomination for Governor, the Washington Post’s Editorial Board said Mastriano represents a unique threat to American democracy.

• The Electoral College allowed two unpopular Republican candidates who received the least votes in 2 elections since 2000 to become President; George W. Bush who lost by almost 600,000 votes in the 2000 election and Donald Trump who lost by 2.84 million in 2016.
• “The rise of minority rule in America is now unmistakable,” said Laurence Tribe, a constitutional law professor at Harvard University. “Especially with a sitting president who won a majority in the electoral college in 2016 while receiving roughly 3 million fewer votes than his opponent
• Republicans lost the popular vote in all but one of the last seven presidential elections, but have appointed 5 of the last 7 “Justices” to the Supreme Court.
• Senate Rigged for Republicans. In 2018, Democrats received almost 12 million more votes than Republicans in Senate races yet suffered losses and failed to win a majority of seats. Because each state gets two senators irrespective of population, states such as Wyoming have as many seats as California, despite the latter having more than 60 times the population. Smaller states also tend to be the more rural and Republican. So the majority is not receiving equal representation in the Senate.
• According to 2018 Census Bureau estimates, more than half of the US population lives in just nine states but is represented by only 18 Senators. Less than half of the population controls about 82 percent of the Senate.

This isn’t Democracy, it’s the type of Rigged Government you find in Dictator Banana Republics… where UN-Democratic minority rule prevails.

Trump nor George W. Bush should have been president. The damage they caused will last for generations. The majority of Americans judgement proved to be RIGHT by not voting for them, and voting for their opponents.

 

The Senate Is Rigged for Republicans

The Senate does not represent the Majority and is rigged for Republicans because Red States like Wyoming which has a small population get as much say a California or New York, with huge populations.

These close elections that gave Republicans the control of the Senate

• In the 2012 Nevada Senate race, Democrats lost by 1.2% – 11,576 votes
• In the 2014 Alaska Senate race, Democrats lost by 2.2% — 6,014 votes
• In the 2014 Colorado Senate race, Democrats lost by 1.9% — 39,688 votes
• In the 2014 North Carolina Senate race, Democrats lost by 1.5% — 45,608 votes
• In the 2016 Pennsylvania Senate race, Democrats lost by 1.5% — 86,690 votes
• In the 2016 Missouri Senate race, Democrats lost by 2.8% — 78,258 votes

According to 2018 Census Bureau estimates, more than half of the US population lives in just nine states. That means that much of the nation is represented by only 18 senators. Less than half of the population controls about 82 percent of the Senate.

This is UNEQUAL Representation and another reason why the United States Ranks 25th as a “Flawed Democracy”.

The fault is 100% Republicans because they refuse to eliminate the Electoral College because it installed two (2) Unpopular Republicans into office who the majority didn’t vote for… George W. Bush and Donald Trump.

 

2000 and 2016  Elections Stolen By The Electoral Collage

The Electoral College has allowed two unpopular Republican candidates who received less popular votes in 2 elections since 2000 to become President; George W. Bush who lost by almost 600,000 votes in the 2000 election and Donald Trump who lost by 2.9 million votes. Neither of these incompetent Republicans should have been president. More people voted against them than for them.

 

If we had a REAL democracy, the person who gets the most votes would be the winner. In every other country which has a democracy on this planet, the person who receives the most votes is the winner.

The fact that we don’t elect our president by the most votes proves there is NO REAL DEMOCRACY IN THE UNITED STATES.

 

If it weren’t for the UN-Democratic Electoral College and Republicans Rigging Elections by Gerrymandering, Voter Obstruction, Voter Purges, etc we wouldn’t have had incompetent idiots like Bush & Trump as President, Republicans in charge of our Government, and all of the “conservative” Federal Judges they installed which do not represent the values of the American Majority.

This is another example of how Republicans are Authoritarians who refuse to change the RIGGED UN-Democratic system which exists now, because they couldn’t win unless the United States Government continues to be RIGGED for THEM.

 

 

2000 ELECTION RIGGED FOR BUSH

In the 2000 election, Jeb Bush promised to “Deliver Florida” to his brother as reported in numerous newspaper articles. Secretary of State, Katherine Harris and Governor Jeb Bush had the motive and the means to make sure Florida’s decisive electoral votes were “delivered” to George W. Bush.

They accomplished this by illegally purging thousands of black voters off of the Florida voter rolls, ensuring an unfair advantage to George W. Bush, as shown in the above video.

 

As shown in the above video, ChoicePoint / DBT was given a $4 million no-bid contract under the Jeb Bush administration which wrongly and illegally purged thousands of African Americans from the Florida voter rolls.

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights 2000 Election Investigation Recommended that the U.S. Department of Justice should “immediately initiate the litigation process against the governor” (Jeb Bush)

As stated in the above article, John Bolton was one of the lawyers for Republicans who repeatedly sought to shut down counts of the ballots from Florida counties before those counts revealed that Gore had actually won the state’s electoral votes and the presidency.

 

In this clip from the 2015 CNN documentary Bush v Gore, John “Mac” Stipanovich admits Republicans were determined to stop the vote count, no matter what it took, to make sure George W. Bush was installed as President. This proves Republicans only cared about winning and to HELL with Democracy and the will of the American people.

 

Antonin Scalia and his Right Wing Republican majority of 5 “Justices” subverted democracy & engaged in partisan politics by stopping the 2000 election vote count. The above video explains the details.

This caused George W. Bush to be installed as President. At the time the votes were stopped by the Supreme Court, there were only 154 votes separating Al Gore from George W. Bush.  With only 154 votes separating Al Gore from George W. Bush, it’s easy to see how purging thousands of black voters being off of the Florida voter rolls rigged the 2000 election and handed it to George W. Bush on a Silver Platter.

 

Al Gore received a 543,895 Vote Majority over George W. Bush.

The Theft of an election and installation of an illegitimate president is the one of worst possible crimes which a government could commit against it’s citizens… yet that is what our government perpetrated against the citizens of the United States, and NOTHING has been done about it.

The rigged election of George W. Bush caused the following events;

• Appointment of Conservative Supreme Court Judges who destroyed the voting rights act of 1965
• The creation of ISIS due to the invasion of Iraq, be-headings and people being burned alive
• And much more…

None of these things would have happened were it not for the Jeb Bush Administration actions which helped brother George W. Bush to be installed as president.

 

 

President Bush is guilty of War Crimes by attacking Iraq, a country which had nothing to do with 9/11 or attacking the United States. He caused the deaths of over 4,000 American Troops and over 112,000 Iraqi civilians and nothing has been done about it.

If we had a REAL Democracy, George W. Bush would NOT have been President because Gore received almost 600,000 more votes than Bush.

 

2004 ELECTION RIGGED?

Harvey Wasserman and Robert J. Fitrakis, who wrote a book “What Happened in Ohio: A Documentary Record of Theft And Fraud in the 2004 Election”, explained that the combination of computer hacking, ballot destruction, and the discrepancy between exit polling (which showed a big Kerry win in Ohio) and the “real” vote tabulation, all point to one answer: the Republicans stole the 2004 election.

“A 6.7% shift in exit polls does not happen by chance. So we have irrefutable confirmation that what we were saying was true and that every piece of the puzzle in the Ohio 2004 election was flawed,” Wasserman said.

 

The above video explains how Ohio Election Computers were designed by a Republican IT professional to be re-routed to a voting tabulator in Tennessee, then flipped to favor Bush and how the man who designed the system died mysteriously in a plane crash soon after giving a deposition. Attorney Robert J. Fitrakis who wrote a book with Harvey Wasserman; “What Happened in Ohio: A Documentary Record of Theft And Fraud in the 2004 Election” has stated that he has proof of 2004 Election rigging which would stand up in court.

To this very day, Republicans continue to pass laws which make it difficult for Minorities, Young People, the Elderly and Women to Vote. A Judge who has been voting for 49 years couldn’t vote in her own courthouse where everyone knew her because of repressive Republican Voter ID Laws in Texas.

 

REPUBLICAN RIGGING ELECTIONS BY GERRYMANDERING

Most Americans have never heard of Gerrymandering and are unaware that Republicans has rigged elections in their favor for years to come through gerrymandering.

 

Through Gerrymandering, Republicans has made it almost impossible to be removed from office in some districts. Since they feel safe from being removed from office, they have no motivation to compromise. They are pursuing radical right wing agendas such as cutting assistance to the poor, cutting planned parenthood funding and passing anti-aborting “War on Women” legislation when the majority of Americans do not support these policies.

 

Republicans began rigging elections in 2010 so they couldn’t be removed from office by hyper-gerrymandering every state they took control of. Republicans injected $30 million, much of it from dark money, often targeting vulnerable blue state Democrats in races that wouldn’t otherwise draw a lot of national funding.  The plan was called REDMAP

 

 

Republicans are destroying democracy by Gerrymandering districts. As you can see from the graph above, a disproportionate number of Republicans were “elected” in relation to votes cast.

This is something you see Banana Republics, which the United States is becoming due to Republicans.

Mitch McConnell Has Destroyed the Senate

This Incompetent & Illegitimate Supreme Court has in recent years made horrible decisions such as “Bush Versus Gore” stopping the vote count & handing the 2000 election to Bush on a silver platter, “Citizens United”, striking down key provisions of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and failing to strike down the Texas “Heartbeat” Law which bans abortions in Texas and turns Anti-Abortion Zealots into Bounty Hunters.

Two (2) “Justices” were installed by George W. Bush who LOST the 2000 election by 543,895 votes and Three (3) “Justices” were installed by Donald Trump who LOST by 2.8 Million votes.

 

Advise & Consent Clause of the Constitution Violated by Mitch McConnell & Republicans

Obama was President when Antonin Scalia died. Obama chose Merrick Garland as Scalia’s replacement but Republicans violated their constitutional duty by refusing to provide “Advise & Consent” and held Scalia’s seat open for almost a year, blocking President Obama’s nominee. This was an outrageous and despicable power grab by Mitch McConnell & Republicans.

When Trump became President, Neil Gorsuch obtained his seat by theft due to Republicans blocking Obama’s nominee, so Gorsuch is without question, an illegitimate “Justice”. Gorsuch seat rightly belongs to Merrick Garland.

Now, the politicized Supreme Court is enacting a far-right, partisan agenda that favors corporate interests and Republican Party special interests. Reproductive freedom, civil rights, environmental justice, common sense gun safety laws, and our right to vote are all at risk. And the Court is eroding confidence in our system of government with ethical lapses and lack of transparency.

The fact the Republicans were able to keep this seat open for almost a year until a Republican (Trump) became president (who LOST by almost 3 millions votes) is an OUTRAGE and more proof of what a mess our Government is, and how ROTTEN & UN-Democratic Republicans are.

 

Trump, who LOST the popular vote by almost 3 million votes, filled Obama’s Supreme Court Seat with Brett Kavanaugh against the will of the majority.

Republican Bush’s two (2) appointments and Trump’s three (3) equals a total of FIVE Justices which should have been Liberal instead of Conservative. Five Liberal Justices would have given the Supreme Court a overwhelming Liberal Majority.

The MAJORITY is NOT Conservative and does not support BACKWARD, REPRESSIVE, CONSERVATIVE, 1800’s ideologies and values.
