The New York Times reported that Barr’s DOJ issued subpoenas to Apple for the metadata for Congressmen Schiff and Swalwell and members of their staff and families. This allegedly was part of an investigation into leaks coming from the House Intelligence Committee, yet no Republican members of that committee had their information subpoenaed. This looks more like the weaponization of the DOJ for Trump’s political advantage than it looks like a legitimate leaks investigation.
