Trump Freaked When Twitter FINALLY Fact-Checked One of His THOUSANDS of Lies

 

Majority Of Americans Like That Twitter Called Out Trump’s Lies

According to new polls, a majority of Americans agreed that Twitter should have labeled Donald Trump’s tweet as false and added a disclaimer and a link to the real facts, compared to just 26% who thought Twitter was out of line to do that. The President can’t get the American people on his side for anything, and that’s likely because he has never been on their side.

 

Trump signed an executive order targeting tech companies like Facebook, Twitter, and Google and the pivotal internet law that provides them broad legal immunity over content posted by their users.

Trump is so thin-skinned that he can’t stand criticism and wants to SUE anyone who criticizes him. That’s why he wants Section 230 eliminated.

The order attempts to roll back liability protections under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. Under Section 230, internet companies have broad immunity from liability for the content their users post on their platforms. The draft order would open the door for the Commerce Department and the Federal Communications Commission to reinterpret the law and allow the Federal Trade Commission to create a tool for users to report bias online.

Legal experts say only congress has the authority to make changes to Section 230 so Trump’s order is unenforceable.
