A grand jury in Colorado indicted a Republican local elections official on a laundry list of felony charges related to election fraud following the 2020 election.1
Prosecutors allege the official, Tina Peters, tampered with voting machines and leaked sensitive election information to right-wing conspiracy theorists in order to fuel Donald Trump’s effort to overturn the results of the election.
It gets worse: Peters is running for Colorado secretary of state—the office that oversees elections, counts the votes, and declares winners and losers of elections.
Thankfully, given her indictment, it seems unlikely that Peters will continue as a candidate. But around the country, far-right white supremacists are running for important offices that oversee elections—including with Trump’s official endorsement.

In the above video, a computer programmer (Clint Curtis) testified to a Congressional Committee that in October of 2000, he wrote a program for a prominent Florida Republican, Tom Feeney which could flip votes and would be undetectable. In September 2006, Feeney was named one of the “20 Most Corrupt Members of Congress”.
Note how this machine is rigged for Romney in 2012. It appears when a voting machine is rigged, it’s usually rigged for republicans. Most companies which makes voting machine are owned by republican owners.

Jim Greer, stated “I sat in on many meetings where it was discussed how to make sure what happened in 2008, when Obama brought out the college-aged voters, the minority voters, never happened again”.
