They failed to call him out for his numerous criminal charges, threats he’s made of retribution, his insane social media posts with lies about prosecutors, judges and witness causing them to receive death threats.
Fresh off a court appearance, Trump made the most of the time back in Fox News’ warm embrace. He cleaned up comments he made in December about being a “dictator” for one day, saying, “I am not going to be a dictator.
Moderators Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum failed to interrupt Trump with fact-checks. During an abortion discussion, when Trump suggested “radical” Democrats supported killing babies after they were born, it was not challenged.
Fox’s town hall with Trump averaged 4.3 million viewers from 9-10 p.m., according to early data from Nielsen Media Research, while the CNN debate featuring Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley averaged 2.5 million during the same hour.
