- On “The View” (Dec 6, 2023) co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, who served as White House Director of Strategic Communications for Trump, claimed he wanted to have a member of his own staff ‘executed’ for leaking a story about him going to the bunker during the George Floyd protests.
- Trump supporter Mike Davis stated he’d pardon all of the January 6 rioters, toss opponents in “the gulag” and ‘caging migrant kids would be “glorious’.
- Kash Patel, who may be a member of Trump’s lawless administration stated; “We will go out and find the conspirators, not just in government but in the media,” Patel said. “Yes, we’re going to come after the people in the media who lied about American citizens, who helped Joe Biden rig presidential elections — we’re going to come after you.

Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.
5. Controlled Mass Media – Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.
6. Obsession with National Security – Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
7. Religion and Government are Intertwined – Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government’s policies or actions.
8. Corporate Power is Protected – The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.
9. Labor Power is Suppressed – Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.
10. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts – Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.
11. Obsession with Crime and Punishment – Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.
12. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption – Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.
13. Manipulate & Control elections – Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate & control elections.
14. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism – Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

Reproductive rights advocates are voicing their outrage after a woman in Texas was arrested and charged with murder for what law enforcement called “the death of an individual by self-induced abortion.”
“Herrera was arrested and served with an indictment on the charge of Murder after Herrera did then and there intentionally and knowingly cause the death of an individual by self-induced abortion,” sheriff’s Maj. Carlos Delgado said in a statement to the Associated Press.

Arkansas – On March 29, 2021, Arkansas became the first state in the US to pass a bill prohibiting doctors from treating trans youth. HB1570 is called the “Save Adolescents From Experimentation (SAFE) Act.” The law will take effect in the summer of 2021.
Arizona – Arizona’s SB1511 would punish doctors with over a decade in prison for providing HRT or puberty blockers to minors. State lawmakers are also attempting to ban trans athletes from playing school sports with bill SB1637.
Connecticut – Connecticut’s legislature is voting on two anti-trans sports bans that would prevent trans youth from playing in school teams “to protect women’s rights”: SB00324 and HB 05795.
Georgia – Georgia’s legislature is voting on a bill that would criminalize gender-affirming care, namely HRT and puberty blockers, for minors: HB401. Two other bills, SB266 and HB276, would prevent trans athletes from participating in school and university sports programs, even at private institutions, if passed.
Florida – Florida’s legislature is voting on a bill that would make gender-affirming care, primarily HRT and puberty blockers, illegal for minors: HB 935
Iowa – Iowa’s trans medical ban would prohibit gender-affirming care for minors with the exception of intersex youth if HF193 is passed. The state is also voting on two bills that would prevent trans athletes from participating in school sports: HF184 and HF327.
Indiana – Indiana is voting on two bills, both of which would bar doctors from giving gender-affirming care to trans minors: SB0224 and HB1505.
Kansas – The Kansas state legislature is considering whether or not to prohibit gender-affirming care like HRT and puberty blockers in two bills: SB214 and HB2210. Kansas will also vote on SB208, a bill that will stop trans students from participating in school sports to “create fairness in women’s sports.”
Kentucky – Kentucky’s HB336 would make providing gender-affirming care for trans minors illegal and protect public officials who express views against gender-affirming care if passed. The state legislature is also debating two bills that would stop trans student-athletes from playing sports: SB106 and HB471.
Louisiana
Louisiana – Louisiana’s SB 104 would make it illegal for doctors to provide gender-affirming care to minors without parental consent, namely gender-affirming therapy, puberty blockers, and HRT.
Mississippi – Mississippi’s bill that would have banned gender-affirming care for trans youth, SB2171, was killed in committee.

The Shadowy, Widespread Effort to Erase Trans Youth
The overwhelming majority of Americans support transgender rights. But some hate groups are pursuing a craven legal strategy.
Per the above article: Anti-trans legislation is spreading all across the country. State legislatures are trying to spin animus against transgender kids being allowed to participate in sports into rules around who’s allowed to do what in this country. And these very kids are having to show up to try to stop lawmakers from erasing their existence.
Oftentimes what we’ll see two bills in legislatures: One will be a trans youth health care ban and the other will be a sports bill. This dual pursuit is so hard to keep up with because there are so many of them—you’ll see one bill fail, and then another one pops up, or a more extreme version pops up.
A lot of these bills have a single source: a legal advocacy group called the Alliance Defending Freedom.
he Alliance Defending Freedom is a long-standing, extreme anti-LGBTQ group. They’re labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. And to give you a sense of why, for a number of years it’s claimed that LGBTQ people are pedophiles, and it advocated for the forced sterilization of transgender people in the European Court of Human Rights in 2015. It is probably as extreme in its stance on queer people as you can get, and it often is behind a lot of these bills.
About Transgender Youth Medical Care Bans:
State Representative Anthony Sabatini has filed HB 211 – the Transgender Youth Medical Care Ban – for the 2022 Florida Legislative Session. These blanket bans attempt to imprison healthcare providers for providing best-practice medical care to transgender youth, criminalize them for practicing their profession, and put politicians between transgender youth, their parents, and medical professionals. Arkansas and Tennessee have passed bans and 18 more states, including Florida, have tried.
This legislation has nothing to do with the health and safety of children — the cruelty is by design. It’s literally cut and paste language from right-wing political strategy groups like the Heritage Foundation that seek to put a target on the backs of transgender youth as an election strategy to mobilize far-right voters. It’s coming from the same anti-LGBTQ playbook they used to create and pass last session’s hateful Transgender Youth Sports Ban.
Earlier this year, Republican Governor of Arkansas, Asa Hutchinson, vetoed a similar bill telling NPR that it amounted to “vast government overreach” and “sends the wrong signal” to a vulnerable population. He urged his legislative colleagues to “rethink [their] engagement in every aspect of culture wars”. The Arkansas Legislature later overrode the veto and became the first state in the nation to ban affirming medical care for transgender youth.
Leading national health organizations like the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Psychological Association, and the American Medical Association support gender-affirming care for transgender children. Doctors and health professionals are tasked with adhering to best practices and standards of care. The legislature forcing them to deviate from that guidance puts the health and wellbeing of transgender youth in peril.
Transgender youth are the most likely to be bullied, the most at risk for suicide, and the most likely to face harassment. We should be working together to keep them safe — not attacking them, their families, and their doctors.
What Does It Mean to Ban Care for Transgender Youth?
Far-right Republicans want you to think that kids are all by themselves, making snap decisions with life-long consequences. But that’s simply not the case.
For most transgender and nonbinary minors, transition care supports “social transitioning” — it’s about presenting as their affirmed gender and using their identified pronouns. When children are able to live and present as their authentic gender identity, they have lower levels of anxiety and depression.

Even if the courts overturn some of these power grabs, as they have in North Carolina, Republicans will remain securely entrenched in the legislative majority through their own hyper-gerrymandering—in Wisconsin last month, 54 percent of the total votes cast for major-party candidates gave Democrats just 36 of 99 assembly seats—so they will go on passing laws to thwart election results. Nothing can stop these abuses short of an electoral landslide. In Wisconsin, a purple state, that means close to 60 percent of the total vote”.
The fact that no plausible election outcome can check the abuse of power is what makes political corruption so dangerous. It strikes at the heart of democracy. It destroys the compact between the people and the government. In rendering voters voiceless, it pushes everyone closer to the use of undemocratic means.

This is why, when some Democrats in the New Jersey legislature proposed to enshrine gerrymandering in the state constitution, other Democrats, in New Jersey and around the country, objected”.

Sidney Powell Pleads GUILTY Attempting to OVERTURN 2020 ELECTION
October 19, 2023 – “Powell pleaded guilty to six misdemeanor counts of conspiracy to commit election interference in Fulton County Georgia Superior Court as part of a deal reached with prosecutors.
Powell agreed to serve six years of probation and pay a $6,000 fine and $2,700 in restitution to the state of Georgia. She also agreed to submit an apology letter to the citizens of Georgia and to testify at related court proceedings.
Powell was one of 19 defendants named in District Attorney Fani Willis’ indictment, which also charged former President Donald Trump.
Powell, who acted as one of Trump’s lawyers after his 2020 election loss to Joe Biden, was charged with racketeering, conspiracy to commit election fraud, conspiracy to commit computer theft, trespassing and invasion of privacy, and conspiracy to defraud the state.

- Spying on Americans: President Bush has admitted to his program of warrentless spying against millions of Americans in violation of the Forth Amendment and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
- Missing e-mails: Two federal statutes require presidential communications, including White House e-mails, to be preserved for the nation’s historical records. From 2001 to October 2003, the White House records system over-wrote all their e-mail files, and up to 2005, some e-mails still were not fully preserved. CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) and the National Security Archives allege that millions of e-mails are missing from White House servers. (It is interesting that the timing of these lost e-mails is when most of the major illegal Bush activities were occurring.)
- Misuse of e-mail systems: Both the Republican National Committee e-mail system and the White House system were used within the White House to perform partisan political activities. As the White House is public property, it is against the law to do partisan political business while on public White House property.
- Unlawful FBI Activities: The ACLU has released documents showing that the Bush Administration directed the FBI to expand the definition of “domestic terrorism” to include citizens engaged in nonviolent protest and civil disobedience. This is totally unconstitutional.
- Firing of US Attorneys: This was a successful attempt by the President to use his US Attorney General and the US Justice Department for partisan political gains. VIDEO
- Response to Hurricane Katrina: This was a demonstration of gross negligence by the Bush Administration. A major, obvious betrayal of public trust.
- Scooter Libby: The President betrayed the public trust when he commuted the prison sentence of “Scooter” Libby.
Koch Industries was indicted by the DoJ in 2000 for knowingly dumping “at least 91 metric tons of uncontrolled benzene in its liquid waste streams” at its Corpus Christi refinery, and for conspiring to cover it up in an attempt to deceive regulators.After George W. Bush took office in 2001, however, “his Attorney General John Ashcroft dropped 88 counts against Koch for the benzene spill and cover-up” in exchange for a guilty plea to falsifying documents and a $20 million fine (a settlement from $350 million in potential fines.)The Kochs made out pretty well in exchange for their $32,200 contribution to the 2000 Bush campaign.
