ADDING ANOTHER 1.5 TRILLION TO THE DEBT IS IRRESPONSIBLE OF REPUBLICANS

An Anti-Growth Tax Cut

Republicans want to cut taxes by $1.5 trillion – while the government already is running a deficit – and they propose to offset those cuts with wishful thinking.

The National Review and other Conservative publications confirm… adding another 1.5 TRILLION to the debt is IRRESPONSIBLE, especially at a time when tax cuts aren’t needed.  We currently have record low UN-employment and a booming economy.

HERE’S THE REAL REASON WHY REPUBLICANS WANT TO THROW THE MIDDLE CLASS, POOR AND SENIORS UNDER THE BUS

Koch officials said that the network’s midterm budget for policy and politics is between $300m and $400m, but donors are demanding legislative progress At a weekend donor retreat attended by at least 18 elected officials, the Koch brothers warned that time is running out to push their agenda, most notably healthcare and tax reform, through Congress.

Why doesn’t Republicans Care that the Majority of Americans Oppose their Tax Bill?

Thanks to a combination of gerrymandering, voter-suppression techniques, and a seemingly endless amount of campaign contributions, which can be used to tell voters the GOP’s tax bill is the opposite of what it actually is, Republicans may have convinced themselves they can win elections, en masse, whether voters approve of their records or not. They can do as they please because, in their minds, the consent of the governed is now little more than an annoying, irrelevant detail.

Paul Ryan Has Fantasized About Cutting Medicaid Since College

Under president Bush, Republicans ran up a huge debt of 10 Trillion Dollars.  Now, they want to balance the budget on the backs of the poor and middle class, by cutting food stamps, social security, medicare and medicaid while refusing to cut military spending.

As shown in the above graph, the United States spends more on the military than Russia, China, the UK and 11 more countries COMBINED.

NO ONE in congress has said anything about the Billions in Military Waste as reported in the above article “Pentagon buries evidence of $125 billion in bureaucratic waste

If it weren’t for the trillions of dollars wasted on the military and trillions spent on past failed wars such as Viet-Nam, Iraq, Afghanistan and others, plus the Bush Tax cuts, we wouldn’t have a 20 Trillion Dollar debt.

REPUBLICANS SHOULD BE CONCENTRATING ON PAYING DOWN THE STAGGERING NATIONAL DEBT OF 20 TRILLION DOLLARS

Republicans are being RECKLESS by cutting taxes on the Rich and corporations when we have a 20 Trillion Dollar debt. That debt needs to be paid down.  The cold war is over… we don’t need to spend trillions on the military any more.   That money should be spent on the American people, the poor, the homeless, not bombs and wars.

The number of agencies contained in the United States Federal Government is mind boggling.  Here’s a list of US Government Agencies.

If we were shut down some of the agencies which are unnecessary and cut wasteful military spending, there would be a lot more money to help the poor & homeless in this country and increase Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid benefits for American citizens.
